Christian Columbres is a commercial photographer based out of the Pacific Northwest.  Focused on architecture, travel, & humanitarian photography, he provides imagery that captures the passion of the people he works with.

He has over decade of experience in the design, development, illustration and photography of the built environment.  Christian was an award winning designer at Roger Williams University, where he received a Bachelor of Architecture.  He worked as an architectural illustrator with StudioAMD for over four years, collaborating with the world’s most renowned architects & designers on countless award winning, internationally recognized projects.  Christian’s photos are strongly rooted in his architectural education & experience through his sensitivity towards space, geometry, proportion, light and shadow.

Over the past few years, Christian has traveled to dozens of cities in over 20 different countries, from Portland to Shanghai, and photographed over one hundred properties for architecture firms, hotels, restaurants and travel media companies.  He thrives in new places and with new people, approaching everything with an attitude of curiosity and reverence.  His clients always enjoy working with him and the results are evident in the work.  Check out what they have to say here.

When not behind a camera or computer screen Christian can be found at the local climbing gym, yoga studio, running, at the dog park, on a trail, on his bicycle, or at home with his fiance, Laura, cooking a meal that probably involves a wine reduction.
